This article provides directions on how to set up LDAP Configuration in Automai RPA Manager to use Active Directory user accounts.

LDAP Configuration

  1. To configure the LDAP settings, log in to Automai RPA with an Administrator account.
  2. In the header next to the login name, click the Global Options icon (gear).
  3. From the menu on the left, click Properties and scroll to the bottom of the window to view the LDAP configuration section.

  1. Enter the values for the settings, as described below.
  • Domain: The domain name of your directory server. For example: automaidc
  • Full server address: The hostname of your directory server. ldap://servername.domain.com
    For example: ldap://ADServerName.automaidc.com
  • Port number: The port on which your LDAP server is listening. Examples: 389 (default), 636 (for SSL)
Update this value if LDAP is configured with a different port number.
  • Use SSL: Select "Yes" if the connection to the directory server is an SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) connection. Default LDAP connection does not use SSL.
  • SSL certificate full path: Displayed when Use SSL is selected. This is an optional field should you need to provide the path of a certificate file (e.g. .pem file).
  1. Click Update. The services will get restarted and you will be logged out.
