How to configure the Robot Worker maintenance schedule

The Robot Worker runs 24/7 in order to execute the assigned processes (scenarios/scripts). However, the rWorker process goes into maintenance mode for few seconds and restarts itself at a pre-defined, specific time during the night.

The maintenance schedule can be modified by following the steps below:

1. Log into the machine where rWorker is installed and go to "...\Automai\rWorker " [rWorker installation] folder.

2. Open rWorker.ini file and look for the line below:

//By default, the maintenance will happen every day between 4:00 AM and 5:00 AM.

maintenance=4-5 *

The digits indicates the time interval which is based on the 24-hour clock and the * represents all the days of a week.

Note: If the line doesn't exist, add it to the end of the file.

You can set the maintenance schedule to a specific day and time by updating the hours and replacing the * with the day of the week. For example:

maintenance=0-3 Wednesday

This mean that the Robot Worker will restart every Wednesday between 12:00 AM and 3:00 AM.

Or

maintenance=19-20 Friday

This mean that the Robot Worker will restart every Friday between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM.

Tip: You can set the value to zero, so that the Robot will not perform maintenance restart. maintenance=0

Note: The rWorker will not go in maintenance mode if it is executing a script
