When launching a Citrix XenApp application or trying to connect to Citrix XenDesktop inside a user session in rUserManager the following issues might occur:
1. Citrix Receiver Error: "This version of Citrix Receiver does not support selected encryption. Please contact your administrator."
2. Citrix Desktop doesn't connect.
3. Citrix Receiver Error: "You might be having an issue with a Citrix virtual driver (SmartCard). Contact your system administrator for further assistance."
Follow the steps below to increase the timeout of the Citrix Receiver by adding the following key:
On 32-bit Windows:
Location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix\ICA Client
Data: Any value in seconds (Decimal)
On 64-bit Windows:
Location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432node\Citrix\ICA Client
Data: Any value in seconds (Decimal) (i.e 10)
Tip: If 10 seconds doesn't work, please try to increase the value of the timeout. (i.e. 20 or 30 seconds)
