How to update AppLoader and Injector?

This article provides steps to update AppLoader and Injectors.

Occasionally, modules* will be updated with bug fixes or new features. If the update is signified as an important update, it should be applied as soon as possible. Otherwise, the update can be applied at any time to receive the changes it contains. Please review the information contained in the Release Notes.

Note: When updating between minor versions (e.g., from version to where the first two numbers are the same), you do not require a new license file.

Please check the current version and follow the instructions to update AppLoader and Injectors:

Automatic Update:

When updates are available a notification icon "Update Available" will show up on the top right of the navigation pane in the Controller.

To install the updates, click on Yes button when the window below appears.

Manual Update:

Please follow the steps below to update AppLoader manually if you cannot update it automatically for any reason.

1. Click here to download the update file.

2. Log into the machine where the AppLoader Controller is installed.

3. Run ALupdates.exe.

Note: If connected Injectors are not updated, log into the Injector machines and restart Injector process “Injector.exe” to get the latest changes.

To check the Injectors status, login to the AppLoader Controller and go to "Injectors" page.

Tip: Sometimes Injectors might not get the updates due to security or network reasons, if this happens; you can go to "...\Automai\AppLoader\apps\update" folder and run IJupdates.exe on your Injector machines manually.
