Installing and configuring license for ScenarioStation

The following gives an outline of the configuration steps to install licenses for ScenarioStation.

To install the “Single” license, place the license file (sslicense.lic) under “…\NrgGlobal or Automai\ ScenarioStation \license” folder

To get a “Permanent” license from a different machine that has License Server installed on it

You need to update the “sstation.ini” file located in the “…\NrgGlobal or Automai\ScenarioStation\” folder. The update will add the following two lines in the [license] section:

licensefolder= …\NrgGlobal or Automai\ScenarioStation\license

base=license Server address       i.e. NRG-VM60:8888

Now, ScenarioStation will contact the License Server located on the server provided automatically to request a “Permanent” license from that server in case there is no valid license under the “…\NrgGlobal or Automai\ScenarioStation\license” folder.

To get a “Token” license from a different machine that has License Server installed on it

You need to update the “sstation.ini” file located in the “…\NrgGlobal or Automai\ScenarioStation\” folder. The update will add the following two lines in the [license] section:

licensefolder= token

base=license Server address         i.e. NRG-VM55:8888

Now, ScenarioStation will contact the License Server located on the server provided automatically to request a “Token” license from that server in case there is no valid license under the “…\AppData\Local\NRG Global\” folder.
