Problem using legacy SSrdpManager

Problem:

When opening a .srdp file using the legacy SSrdpManager (located under ...\NrgGlobal or Automai\AppsWatch\apps\install\Legacy\SSrdpManager.exe), User gets an error message:

Reason:

Legacy SSrdpManager requires the server to disable Network Level Authentication (NLA).

Solution:

To disable NLA on Windows Server 2012 and 2016:

  1. Open the Control Panel. Ensure that the control panel is showing items by Category (i.e. not in Classic View). Click on System and Security and under System Properties > Remote tab select Allow remote connections to this computer.  
  2. Uncheck Allow connections only from computers running Remote Desktop with Network Level Authentication (recommended).
  3. Click Apply and OK.
